Approaching tender opportunities and schemes for the site experienced perspective of “constructability”, with considerations applied – and subsequent project estimating – enabling the client to submit a comprehensive project costing with risk factored.
Bid process support from submission through to contract signing, with competence to attend tenderer meetings, clarification interfaces etc. on behalf of the client.
Site visit capability to assess “constructability” considering all deliverables from site access, material distribution, cable route determination etc.
Design support, layout, situation of key assets, access, site conditions and deliverability.
Construction Project Management
Management of all trade’s construction activities during the construction phase directing & supporting clients supervision teams onsite and where applicable, offsite including street works, and grid connection works, including connections at transmission level.
Management of the construction programme, covering all site activities, trades and control of key milestone items.
Production and creation of milestone claims and valuation of works.
Management and control of project cashflow supporting client requirements.
Interface with client, end user and other key stakeholders at a senior level.
Management of grid connection interface with both distribution and transmission organisations.
Management of onsite LV, HV & DC contractors, civils contractors and security providers.
Management of off site HV works with ICP’s, understanding key activities, from design submission through to commissioning and testing.
Monitoring, supporting & ensuring all construction activities are CDM & HSE compliant.

Significant experience at connecting distribution and transmission grid connection schemes.
Significant experience dealing with highways and local council engagement for NRSWA works.
Experience with voltages at 11kV, 33kV & 132kV connected systems.
Significant experience with central or string inverter based solar based solar installations.
Experience with working with HSE in the event of reportable H&S incidents.
Significant experience with successful tendering initial development design & risk assessment pre-construction of projects.
Experience with commercial negotiations around contract valuations, milestone valuations and cashflow management.
Extensive experience in developing and delivering employers requirements for construction projects.
Extensive relationships within the industry able to commission and deliver a wide range of design studies, performance reports and pre-construction information. This includes but is not limited to the end of project commissioning and handover.
